A Poem
'Twas
in a mid-November,
maybe 'twas December,
and I was walkin' down the street in drunken pride.
Now my heart was all a flutter,
so I lay down in the gutter,
and a pig came along and lay down by my side.
Now my heart was all a flutter,
and as I lay there in the gutter,
a person passing by was heard to say,
"you can tell the guy who boozes,
by the company he chooses,"
and the pig got up and slowly walked away!
